LIFT is ideal for those looking to start their weight-training journey under professional and expert guidance. Weight training strengthens muscles, increases bone density, reduces pressure on joints (especially knees), speeds up metabolism, and blasts fat while increasing muscle percentage in the body. LIFT is a Level 3 workout recommended at least 2 times a week for those looking to tone, shape and sculpt their bodies. The class has no jumps or cardio. It is recommended that you do 1 or 2 LIFT classes with 4 hours of cardio workout in a week for maximum results.
The class is conducted with a barbell and weight plates to ensure that everyone chooses the weight that they are comfortable with and challenged by. In one hour, all the major muscles in the body, including quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteals, calf, abdominals, obliques, chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders and back are worked, with a total of 800-1000 repetitions. LIFT is known for being the toughest weight training class in the world, hence giving the fastest results.
AimFit provides all the necessary equipment however it is preferred that you bring your own mat. Additionally you will need supportive shoes, comfortable workout clothes, a sweat towel and a water bottle.
